A world of grey, eternal night
I seek a soul, a shining light
To guide me through this pain and fear
To hold me close when end is near
I feel the darkness all around
It calls my name without a sound
To wear the mask that no one knows
To hide within and stay alone
And in the night its song is sweet
I feel it whisper as I sleep
To stay within this world I made
To never let this feeling fade
But in the light I'm forced awake
And know the love I felt as fake
To loose a soul that was not real
To know the loss I should not feel
And so I search this world of grey
A shining soul to light my way
To dream with me in darkest night
To stay with me, through dawn's first light
